720 South Bar & Grill and Kitty O’Sheas are the primary two food & beverage outlets at the Hilton Chicago hotel. Contemporary yet cozy, 720 South Bar & Grill is the perfect spot for any meal. The chefs pride themselves on using only the freshest ingredients in preparing outstanding contemporary American cuisine. Grab a pint and enjoy one of the most authentic Irish pubs in the city at Kitty O'Sheas. The staff provides warm and genuine hospitality – many of them are actually native to Ireland. The traditional Irish and pub fare are second to none in Chicago. The branding for the hotel bar, Kitty O’Shea’s, has changed a little every year since my arrival but still maintains the traditional Irish Pub feel. In 2012, 720 South took the place of the Pavillion as the hotels’ main dining outlet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Around this time, we launched a new direction in the hotel’s overall brand position and I was asked to give 720 South a look and feel that would work with the property’s image while adhering to Hilton’s new restaurant guidelines. The new work compliments Hilton Chicago pieces (found on this site under “Hilton Chicago” from 2013 on) and puts an emphasis on the distinct photography and colorful elements that change from event to event and season to season.
